To achieve the capability to work independently across various domains such as commercial, industrial, and domestic electrical installations, reaching the Level 3 Diploma is a prerequisite.  To save both time and money, we offer a streamlined City and Guilds fast-track pathway designed for adults. 

Our programmes enable you to achieve a Level 3 qualification in less than a quarter of the time it takes at traditional local colleges. We provide you with the flexibility to select weekend or evening classes that align with your schedule. 

Upon completion of the Level 3 Diploma, you will be eligible to complete the NVQ Level 3 portfolio and AM2 enabling you to achieve Gold Card status.

    BS 7671-18th Edition: IET Building Services Regulations

  • Unit 201/501 – Health and Safety in Building Services Engineering.

    Unit 202 – Principles of Electrical Science.

    Unit 203 – Electrical Installation Technology. (Electrical theory)

    Unit 204 – Installation of Wiring Systems and Enclosures. (Practical)

    Unit 210 – Understand How to Communicate with Others Within Building Services and Engineering.

    Unit 301 – Understand the Fundamental Principles and Requirements of Environmental Technology Systems.

    Unit 302 – Principles of Electrical Science. (Science L3)

    Unit 303 – Electrical Installation: Fault Diagnosis and Rectification.

    Unit 304 – Electrical installation: Inspection, Testing and Commissioning.

    Unit 305 – Electrical Systems Design.

    Unit 308 – Career Awareness in Building Services Engineering.

  • There are three options for this course. Weekdays, weekends or evenings as detailed below:

    Weekdays - Monday and Tuesdays - 9.30am - 4.30pm.

    Weekdays - Wednesdays & Thursdays - 9.30am - 4.30pm

    Evenings - Monday and Tuesdays - 6:30pm - 9:30pm

    Evenings - Wednesdays & Thursdays - 6:30pm - 9:30pm

    Weekends - Saturday and Sundays - 9.30am - 4.30pm.

  • The criteria / method of assessment varies from unit to unit. Most units have an exam (written and/or online) and others have practical assessments. Your lecturer will notify of you which is required enabling you to adequately prepare for that particular unit.

A complete training package containing domestic, commercial and advanced electrical installation skills. Intended for those wanting to progress to gold card status or branch out into a range of electrical related industries

  • 2 days or 2 evenings per week. Weekends avaialble.

Where can I work upon completion of this programme?

These courses will allow you to work in the industry full scope. This will allow you to work unsupervised in commercial, industrial, domestic and agricultural sectors. Also, by completing the Level 3 Diploma you will be able to continue to further your qualifications and complete the NVQ and other awards.
